Kung nakita ninyo sa statement ng Office of the Vice President, pinublish na yung report ng Commission on Audit at wala silang findings of any wrongdoing sa Office of the Vice President,” she said in an ambush interview at the Hague, Netherlands on December 5.</p><p>COA’s <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/3/p3-9-m-laptops-in-coa-report-are-donated-photocopiers-staff-listed-incorrectly-ovp-1325">notes </a>in financial statements for the OVP state that the OVP&#x27;s additional acquisitions in 2024 included seven units of CCTV systems, amounting to P1.48 million or roughly around P212,000 each.</p><p>The OVP said these were for the satellite, extension offices, Libreng Sakay buses as supposedly recommended by its security team, “and part of safeguarding of assets as required by COA.”</p><p>“All went through the proper modes of procurement, and there were no COA findings,” the OVP earlier said.</p><p>Duterte further took note of the unqualified opinion rendered by the state auditor, crediting her office’s personnel for doing the hard work.</p><p>“In fact, meron silang binigay na unqualified opinion doon sa opisina ng Office of the Vice President. At kailangan ko pasalamatan doon yung mga kasamahan ko sa Office of the Vice President kasi sila talaga yung — ako lang yung mukha ng opisina pero lahat ng paperwork, lahat ng trabaho sa mga utos ko, lahat ng legwork, trabaho yan ng mga personnel ng Office of the Vice President,” she said.</p><p>She also expressed gratitude to Filipinos who have been seeing her work and of the OVP.</p><p>“At kahit man, kahit man na bumaba o tumaas yan, na pabago-bago ang numbers, rest assured that the Office of the Vice President will continue to faithfully serve the Filipino people,” she stated.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/4/ovp-no-findings-of-loss-of-gov-t-funds-property-wastage-in-coa-audit-1555">OVP: No findings of loss of gov&#x27;t funds, property wastage in COA audit</a></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>&#x27;UNMODIFIED OPINION&#x27;</strong></div><p>According to COA, an unmodified opinion (also referred to as an unqualified opinion) is an opinion issued when the auditor concludes that the financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework.</p><p>“For this purpose, the auditor’s evaluation includes due consideration of quantitative and qualitative materiality established based on the prescribed COA’s audit guidelines,” it said on its website.</p><p>However, it noted that an unmodified or unqualified opinion &quot;does not necessarily mean that there were no misstatements found during the audit nor there were no uncorrected misstatements as at year-end.&quot;</p><p>“It is possible that the misstatements found during the audit were already corrected by the audited agency or that the uncorrected misstatements are not material, quantitatively and qualitatively,” COA said.</p><p>“Moreover, this does not entail that the audited agency fully complies with all the laws, rules, and regulations or that the uses of funds on the agency’s programs, projects, and activities are economical, effective, or efficient,” it further noted.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/2/coa-ovp-grants-p3-4-m-to-livelihood-beneficiaries-amid-absence-of-feasibility-viability-1229">COA: OVP grants P3.4-M to livelihood beneficiaries amid ‘absence of feasibility, viability’ in project proposals</a></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:</strong></div><div style="text-align:center"><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BmN-ocBX8V0?si=h5zlsUUKY2NOGPQ6" title="YouTube video player" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>
