Broadcast journalist Karen Davila finds out the secrets to succeed in the retail and wholesale food business straight from the owner of Lydia’s Lechon, one of the most successful chain of lechon outlets in the country tomorrow (July 31) in “My Puhunan.”

Lydia de Roca spent 22 years selling goods on the sidewalks of Baclaran. In 1986, she finally opened a stall along Roxas Boulevard where she sold her famous and tasty Lydia’s Lechon. Her life turned around completely when she was invited by one of her patrons, none other than Henry Sy, to put up a stall in one of his SM Mall food courts.

Karen will bring together Lydia and Nora, a struggling woman who sells barbecue for a living. Lydia will teach Nora everything she knows about the food business – from preparing tasty sauces to setting the right price of her products.

In “My Idol’s Puhunan,” meanwhile, former Viva Hot Babe Andrea Del Rosario shows her restaurant “Longganisa Sorpresa” that serves all kinds of longganisa dishes from all over the country.

Watch “My Puhunan” tomorrow (July 31), 4:15 PM on ABS-CBN. For updates, follow @mypuhunan on Twitter or visit www.facebook.com/MyPuhunan.
