On the second night of “The Voice of the Philippines Live Shows,” from Team Bamboo, Angelique Alcantara sang “Nobela”, Paolo Onesa owned “You Give Me Something” and Isabella Fabregas bared her soul with “You’ve Got a Friend.” In the end, it was the crooner that got 46.37% of votes from the public while Coach Bamboo chose the “better performer for the night” and saved Isabella.

From Team Sarah, Yuki Ito exceeded Coach Sarah’s expectations with “A Song For You,” followed by Klarisse De Guzman’s superstar performance of  “Beggin,” while Maki Ricafort made Coach Sarah’s heart cry with his rendition of “Without You.” In the end, the public decided to give 36.75% of their votes to Maki while Coach Sarah saved Klarisse.

From Team Apl, Penelope Matanguihan sang “Ordinary People” extraordinarily as both Coach Lea and Coach Apl said her performance was “perfection.” Stan Perfecto, the “small man with a big voice” followed with “When I Was Your Man.” Finally and with standing ovation from the four coaches, Janice Javier flew high with “I Believe I can Fly.” No wonder people chose her with 42.82% of votes while Coach Apl saved Penelope.

From Team Lea, Diday sang “Rumor Has It,” Kimpoy Mainit followed with a great performance of “Hallelujah” and finally another exemplary performance from Mitoy Yonting with “Don’t Stop Me Now.” The public didn’t seem to have a hard time choosing as they gave 82.29% of their votes to Mitoy while Coach Lea, for her part, praised Diday’s growth but saved Kimpoy.
