<figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BUDc7dcNPug?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>MANILA – Companies need to train millennials for leadership roles as the young workforce moves to mid-level positions, a global recruitment agency said Monday.</p><p>Head-hunters also need to adjust to the young population, as their work experiences differ from their predecessor, Robert Walters manager for Banking and Financial Services Priya Gupta told ANC.</p><p>Millennials, for example, have shorter job tenures compared to older generations, she said.</p><p>“Millennials now are going to mid-level function. A number of things now are geared to the millennials and rightfully so, we need to attract them. Now it’s about how we train them to take those leadership,” Gupta said.</p><p>“The reality is about analyzing it in a different way today so that we can offer them different opportunities,” she added. </p><p>Using their language and offering them new roles can help firms lure millennials, Gupta said.</p><p>The overseas Filipino trend is also “shifting” as more millennials decide work in the Philippines due to more competitive salaries and better opportunities, Gupta said.</p>
