It also tells the love story between Na Hee-do (Kim Tae-ri) and Baek Yi-jin (Nam Joo-hyuk), and is set in 1998 amidst the turbulence of the East Asian Financial Crisis. </p><div><br/></div><p>Kim Tae-ri plays Na Hee-do, an athlete and member of the high school fencing team. Because of the financial crisis, the team gets disbanded. Getting though all the trials, she becomes a member of the saber fencing national team.</p><div><br/></div><p>The financial crisis also affects Baek Yi-jin, played by Nam Joo-hyuk, as his father&#x27;s business goes bankrupt. This leads to a drastic life change for Yi-jin who goes from being wealthy to struggling financially. While studying, he must work part-time jobs like delivering newspapers. Later on, he becomes a sports reporter for a broadcasting network.
