<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/entertainment/03/30/camino-ignaciano-retreat-participants.jpg?ext=.jpg"/><figcaption>Pilgrims of the Camino Ignaciano. <em>Jesuit Communications Foundation</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>A documentary retracing the route of St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1522 to become a &quot;true soldier of Christ&quot; is airing Friday afternoon on the Kapamilya network, as part of its Lenten broadcast.</p><p>Produced by the Jesuit Communications Foundation, &quot;Sangandaan: Paghahanap kay Hesus sa Camino Ignaciano&quot; follows a group of pilgrims who share their spiritual journey and personal stories as they walk the same path as Ignatius.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/entertainment/03/30/camino-ignaciano-retreat-was-a-157-km-trek.jpg?ext=.jpg"/><figcaption>Pilgrims on the 157-kilometer path of the Camino Ignaciano. <em>Jesuit Communications Foundation</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>The actual pilgrimage, which spanned 157 kilometers in Spain, happened from September 26 to October 10 last year, and will be shown in &quot;Sangandaan&quot; alongside scenes from the award-winning &quot;Ignacio de Loyola&quot; film, and reflections from spiritual director Rev. Fr. Louis Catalan, SJ.</p><p>&quot;The pilgrims that audiences will see, they&#x27;re physically moving from point A to B. Much like in our lives, we&#x27;re always journeying regardless of what stage we are at. Ultimately, it is getting to know God more, connecting with Him that remains to be our main purpose,&quot; JesCom creative director Pauline Mangilog-Saltarin said.</p><p>&quot;Sangandaan&quot; will air from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Good Friday on ABS-CBN.</p>
