<p>The <strong>Tony Awards</strong> is an annual celebration of the best performers, directors, and productions in <strong>Broadway</strong>. This year’s awards ceremony took place at the Lincoln Center&#x27;s David H. Koch Theater in New York City on Sunday, June 16.</p><div><br/></div><p>The evening was a showcase of theatrical excellence and featured a lot of headline-grabbing moments including the surprise duet of <strong>Alicia Keys</strong> and <strong>Jay-Z</strong>. The appearance of <strong>Angelina Jolie</strong> and her daughter <strong>Vivienne</strong> also made headlines. The mother-daughter duo stunned in teal-hued dresses; Angelina in a strapless, waist-hugging Versace velvet gown with a coordinated shawl, and Vivienne in a darker shade bowtie, vest, and trousers paired with a white long-sleeved shirt and Converse sneakers.</p><div><br/></div><p><strong>Billy Porter</strong> was another standout, turning heads in a Robert Wun S/S 2023 couture ensemble. We&#x27;re seeing the return of mermaid gowns, worn by celebrities like <strong>Nicole Scherzinger</strong> and <strong>Rachel McAdams</strong>. Nicole captivated in a bold hot-pinkish red draped waist gown by Nicolas Jebran while Rachel McAdams chose a simple Givenchy see-through black gown with an asymmetrical white silk neckline, styled with Tiffany &amp; Co. jewelry.</p><div><br/></div><p>The 77th Tony Awards not only honored Broadway’s best but also celebrated the diverse and glamorous world of fashion.
