Esteemed fashion designer Michael Leyva celebrated his 10th anniversary with a 50-piece collection. Here are highlights and our favorite runway looks from the show.

<p>In celebration of his 10th anniversary in fashion, designer <strong>Michael Leyva</strong> presented a poignant and spectacular showcase of his couture creations at the National Museum of Natural History in Manila. Since his debut in 2012, Michael Leyva served as a staple in Philippine fashion. A delightful marriage of Filipiniana silhouettes and larger-than-life ball gowns, his sought-after designs are worn by debutantes, brides, and mega-stars of all sorts. His brand embodies an elusive kind of beauty that many people have fallen in love with, and 10 years later, this love still beats on.</p><div><br/></div><p><em>“Hiraya: Isang Dekada ng Aming Pagmamahal at Pangarap”</em> was a fashion presentation like no other. Deeply inspired by his growth as a designer and his infinite love for his late brother Brian Leyva, Michael presented a grand showcase of 50 couture looks. </p><div><br/></div><p>The show opened with Erik Santos&#x27;s performance of <em>This Is The Moment. </em>The opening look was Pia Wurtzbach in a gilded two-piece ensemble then followed by an array of white bridal couture gowns with dresses highlighting boning details and sculptural suits. After a parade of white garbs, jewel-toned pieces with fringe details and delicate floral embellishments descended down the museum’s beautiful exposed staircase.</p><div><br/></div><p>One of the highlights of the night was Vice Ganda’s ethereal entrance from the elevator of the museum that resembles the Tree of Life. Vice Ganda was wearing a breathtaking wedding gown with a chapel-length train and a romantic veil. The show continued with a series of pastel ball gowns, high shine mini dresses paired with larger-than-life capes, and suits with brushstroke design elements.</p><div><br/></div><p>For the finale, Regine Velasquez serenaded the guests with a powerful performance of <em>I Believe</em> as golden couture gowns and suits walked down the runway in an exquisite manner. Anne Curtis closed the runway in Brian Leyva’s Filipiniana look made out of five centavo coins, the piece he presented at the Young Designer’s Competition in 2006. The show ended with Michael Leyva walking down the runway in a black suit that featured a portrait of his late brother.
