The walls are beautifully hand-painted with colorful, festive murals that instantly brighten up the mood, plus a luxurious wine shelf that’s backlit for added drama. The space is airy, with lush plants adorning the corners and macrame decors that accent the ceilings. The floors are laid with patterns made with Spanish tiles; and the second floor offers more seating, with an adorable bar at the center, strategically designed to cater to breakfast diners during the day, and liquor drinkers by night. We have suppliers from Madrid, and all over the world,” Chef Nicko shares. Some signature dishes that are highly recommended include the iconic <strong>Paella Mixta (P1,190)</strong>, bursting with saffron-infused rice, succulent jumbo prawns, tender chicken Inasal, and delectable mussels and squid; the savory <strong>Paella Negra Sushi (P440)</strong>, sushi made with their best-selling paella negra, topped with crispy baby squid with dollops of special aioli sauce; and the<strong> Salpicón de Pulpo (P690)</strong>, a seafood salad with octopus, shrimps, mussels, mixed with green and black olives, negra tuile, and sliced fresh strawberries, with their special blue aioli dressing. They also have some nights with skilled DJs that spin amazing mixes and beats that add to the overall experience of elevated dining on the island. “We want our guests to have a relaxing time, with good food made from high quality ingredients, and prices that give you what you pay for. Filipinos and Spanish people have very similar palates (we both looove the garlic!), and we take advantage of that,” Chef Nicko happily quips.</p><div><strong><br/></strong></div><div><strong>Delicioso Drinks</strong></div><p>Complementing the exquisite culinary offerings, Chiringuito boasts an extensive selection of beers, refreshing Sangrias, and delicious cocktails. Sangria is a beloved and refreshing alcoholic beverage that originates from Spain, known for its vibrant colors, fruity flavors, and festive character. It includes:</p><p><strong>Sangria Tinto:</strong> “The best sangria you’ll ever have,” as Chiringuito boasts. It’s perfectly fruity and boozy, Barcinos’ signature red wine cocktail, loaded with fresh orange and apple slices—a true classic.</p><p><strong>Sangria Blanco: </strong>A lighter take on the Sangria Tinto, using white wine with the same infusion of fresh fruits.</p><p><strong>Tropical Sangria:</strong> This one really pleased my taste buds! It’s their “beach in a glass.” It’s a refreshing and light blend of white wine with pineapple, watermelon, and mangoes. A must-try on the island!  </p><div><br/></div><p>For their top-rated cocktails, I tried the locally flavored <strong>Coquito con Ube (P320)</strong>, a summer-inspired drink with Luisita Rhum, Ube Liquer, coconut milk, with a toasted coconut rim. It’s the perfect light drink for ube lovers for sure. For a unique take on the Pina Colada, Chiringuito offers the <strong>Caramelo Salado (P440)</strong>, a sweet blend of the fruity and creamy classic with notes of caramel. If you want something that’s more citrusy and refreshing, the <strong>Verda Fresca (P370)</strong> is their ultimate crowd favorite, made with the right balance of gin, lemon juice, cucumber and mint. It may be easy to drink, but be careful though, they say it&#x27;s a beautiful glass of betrayal!</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img loading="lazy" src="https://assets-metrostyle.abs-cbn.com/prod/metrostyle/attachments/064e59db-f390-4bd1-9136-bea881998003_20230523_191612.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt=""/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Caramelo Salado, Verde Fresca, and Coquito Con Ube</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>For sweet endings, there’s the <strong>Piramide de Churros (P320)</strong>, their traditional fried dough with white and milk chocolate, sprinkled with basil threads (a really interesting touch that brings a fragrant flavor to the dessert).
