<figure class="op-social"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="350" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Xx6icLv03Vs" width="100%"></iframe></figure><p>Presidential candidate Mar Roxas warned the public of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte&#x27;s alleged hidden wealth after the controversial mayor refused to sign a waiver opening his bank accounts for scrutiny.</p><p>Roxas was among the politicians who attended the signing of the Truthful, Responsible, Upright, Trustworthy, Honest (TRUTH) covenant after a Mass presided by Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle on Monday.</p><p>The Liberal Party standard bearer said signing the covenant is important to ensure clean and honest elections.</p><p>&quot;We are leaders eh. Pipili sila ngayon. Ngayon pa lang, hindi pa pangulo, meron nang mga itinatagong hidden wealth,&quot; he said.</p><p>He even compared Duterte to Vice President Jejomar Binay, who has also been accused of having hidden wealth.</p><p>&quot;Lahat ng sinasabi dati ni Vice President Binay, word for word, para itinago ang kanyang mga katiwalian at pagnanakaw. Ngayon, ikaw (Duterte) din mismo ang nagsasabi, word for word, kasuhan ninyo kami,&quot; he added.</p><p>Duterte earlier denied owning the account but later confirmed owning a joint Bank of the Philippine Islands account with his daughter, Sara.</p><div><a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/halalan2016/nation/04/28/16/timeline-duterte-camp-denies-admits-bpi-account">TIMELINE: Duterte camp denies, admits BPI account</a></div><p>On Monday, his lawyer, Salvador Panelo, said the BPI Julia Vargas branch has confirmed to him that Duterte did not have P211 million in his bank account.</p><p>He also said the bank asked for four to seven days to issue a certification &quot;that at no time was there a P211-million deposit—whether singly, collectively, or cumulatively to [Duterte&#x27;s] name.&quot;</p><p>Asked why he did not ask for Duterte&#x27;s history of banking transactions, Panelo said: &quot;They cannot even issue a certification, how can they release all documents.
