More Filipino dramas are set to air in Burmese television after MKCS Global, the top content provider and channel operator in Myanmar, bought 250 hours of content from ABS-CBN, the leading media and entertainment company in the Philippines.
MKCS Global inked a deal with ABS-CBN to distribute four titles that include “And I Love You So,” “Born For You,” “Brothers” (“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”), and “La Luna Sangre” to Myanmar’s biggest FTV channels, MWD and MRTV 4.
MKCS Global and ABS-CBN have started doing business in 2011. Since then, the two have been partners in providing quality Filipino content to Burmese audiences. Some ABS-CBN dramas that were well received in Myanmar were “Born For You,” “Be My Lady,” and “All of Me.”
