Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2015, was eventually handed the crown, sparking <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/01/03/16/watch-colombian-burns-pia-wurtzbach-effigy" target="_blank">outrage</a> from some Colombians. </p> <p>Since then, everything&#x27;s become water under the bridge. American TV personality Steve Harvey, who host again this year, has already begged both candidates for forgiveness. </p> <p>And Tovar seems to agree that the past should remain in the past. &quot;I love the Philippines,&quot; he told reporters shortly after arriving at the Manila airport. &quot;It&#x27;s a big opportunity to be here in this amazing country. I am so excited for the pageant! And I want to know your culture, including your food.&quot; </p> <p>Tovar is one of the candidates who arrived Saturday.
