<figure class="op-interactive"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Cv59y33V-ts?rel=0" width="560"></iframe></figure>Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez on Friday appealed to the national government for help in clearing roads leading to upland villages that were devastated by the 6.5-magnitude quake that devastated the Visayas.&quot;Help is being sent towards upland barangays, (but) we need help regarding moving lands, some heavy equipment would be good from the national government,&quot; Gomez said in an interview on ANC&#x27;s Early Edition.Gomez said the government has yet to estimate the total damage due to the quake as some areas remain inaccessible.It is also difficult to send aid as the city continues to suffer from power outages and a drop in water supply levels, Gomez said.&quot;It&#x27;s always difficult when there&#x27;s no electricity, especially last night. But the Ormoc people are resilient and we&#x27;re surviving, the lack of electricity is the cause of low water pressure in the city,&quot; he said.One death was recorded in the city after a teenage mother was trapped in a collapsed establishment, Gomez said.Hundreds were taken to hospitals after sustaining minor injuries due to falling debris, he added.
