MANILA- The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) said Thursday it wants a &quot;zero-tolerance policy&quot; against litterbugs in Boracay island.This after trash was spotted in some areas of the island&#x27;s beachfront during the <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/10/15/18/cesspool-no-more-boracay-opening-dry-run-starts">dry run</a> of its soft opening last Monday.&quot;Nagmamahal kayo sa ating kalikasan, at yun ang gusto namin palakasin,&quot; Environment Undersecretary Benny Antiporda said in a statement.(You are nature lovers and we want to strengthen that.)Antiporda reminded the public that violators of the Anti-Littering Law could face a fine or be made to render community service from 8 to 16 hours.
