<div></div>Inaresto sa isang entrapment operation ang isang lalaki ng NBI Cybercrime Division matapos umano niyang tanggapin ang perang hiningi mula sa nagreklamong kontraktor.Nangako raw ang suspek na kaya niyang ipanalo ang kontraktor sa bidding ng P24-million project sa airport ng Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), basta&#x27;t magbigay ang kontraktor sa kanya ng 5 porsiyento na halaga ng project na P1.2-million.“Marami siyang kine-claim sa project tapos sabi niya kung gusto niyo itong ma-award sa inyo ang project… Dinerecho na ng boss ko, ano bang gusto mo, sabi niya sa boss ko asking namin 5 percent, if you can give us 5 we can give you the project,” anang biktima.Nilinaw ng suspek na hindi siya empleyado ng SBMA, pero pinakiusapan daw siya ng kaibigan niya sa ahensya para kausapin ang contractor.&quot;It just so happened na napagutusan lang ako if I know this company so I googled their names and found out about this company... It&#x27;s really unfair, una we&#x27;re not the one who insisted to get the money. They&#x27;re the ones who insisted to give money to get the project. It&#x27;s the other way around,&quot; ayon sa suspek.Dagdag ng suspek, hindi para sa kanya lang ang pera.“The money was not for me, it was for them... the agency, they were the ones who asked if they can provide,” anang suspek.Sa pahayag naman ng SBMA, inamin nilang may kasalukuyang bidding na proyekto sa airport. Pero nilinaw nila na hindi empleyado ang suspek at hindi otorisado sa mga transaksyon ng ahensya.Pero ayon sa NBI, patuloy ang kanilang imbestigasyon sa pahayag ng suspek na may kasabwat siyang mga taga-SBMA.”Actually, may inimbestigahan na official din ng SBMA, ongoing ang investigation meron na kaming nakitang link kung sino ang katransaksyon niya at sino kusap niya,” sabi ni NBI CCD chief Jeremy Lotoc.Kulong ang suspek sa kasong estafa in relation to the Anti-Cybercrime Law.
