Residents salvage scraps after a number of houses along the Pasig River in Manila were destroyed by the wind and the waves brought by the typhoon Carina strengthened southwest monsoon on Tuesday. Around 25 familes from Isla Puting Bato were previously evacuated as a result of the conditions.
