The first-ever female idol group in the Philippines—MNL48—has released the much-awaited music video “Talulot ng Sakura” on the country’s number one music channel, MYX.

The video features the sing-and-dance group’s Senbatsu members Sheki, Abby, Sela, Tin, Alice, Ella, Ash, Gabb, Jem, Sayaka, Faith, Lara, Grace, Quincy, Alyssa, and Erica, shot at Movie Stars Café and La Mesa Eco Park.

It was inspired by the official music video of MNL48’s sister group, AKB48’s original version of “Sakuara no Hanabiratachi.”

Tetsuya Hashi directed the video, which depicted the song’s message that change is constant, to leave the past without worries, and to face the future like a cherry blossom.

“Talulot ng Sakura” is MNL48’s second single in the group’s exciting debut album produced under Star Music in partnership with Hallo Hallo Entertainment.

Check out MNL48’s new music video on MYX. The music channel is available on ABS-CBN TVplus channel 12, SKYcable channel 23, and SKYdirect channel 37. Download the “Talulot ng Sakura” single on digital stores. For updates, follow @abscbnpr on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or visitwww.abscbnpr.com.
