A romance-drama movie treat this Sunday
One of 2018’s biggest blockbuster hits, “Exes Baggage” starring Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino, is set to air on cable channel Cinema One for the first time this Sunday (May 5).
Black Sheep Productions’ theatrical debut features exes Angelica (Pia), a rebel who fights for what she believes in, and Carlo (Nix), a solitary musician. They meet again two years after their painful breakup.
Oggs Cruz of
rappler.com talked about how the story unfolded for the main characters. “It starts off with a chance reunion between two ex-lovers that is about to take flight, except that a history of a love that beautifully blossomed only to woefully plateau needs to be unloaded,” he said.
Koji Arsua of
wheninmanila.com hailed the lead actors’ chemistry and performance in the romance-drama. He wrote, “Luckily for Dan Villegas’ Exes Baggage, Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban more than deliver. Their chemistry is incredible and it’s what drives the film to its well-deserved success.”
Adding to the film’s emotions is its theme song by Ben&Ben. Fred Hawson of
