Son gets addicted to drugs
Ina Raymundo portrays a mother who gets abused by her son who is suffering from drug addiction this Saturday (June 15) in “Ipaglaban Mo.”
After learning that her son Gio (Neil Coleta) is taking illegal drugs, Clara (Ina) wanted to turn him in to be rehabilitated. But she yields to her son when he begs not to be surrendered, and promises to change.
One day, Clara regrets being too forgiving as she is raped by the drug-crazed Gio. With a heavy heart, she decides to go to the authorities to have her unremorseful son arrested.
Will the grief-stricken mother ever find it in her heart to forgive the son who disrespected her humanity? Will blood relations play a role in the legal battle surrounding Gio’s unremorseful behavior?
