VIACOM – home to the leading portfolio of global multi-platform entertainment brands like MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, Paramount Network, Vidcon, Pluto TV and TV Land and one of the top five largest media conglomerates in America in terms of revenue in 2018 – hosted Filipino-American singer Inigo and Filipino-Puerto Rican talent Kiana V. in an artist showcase celebrating diversity and the end of May, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

The showcase, which took place at the historic 54-floor skyscraper Viacom headquarters on 1515 Broadway, Times Square, Manhattan was a partnership between myxTV music channel and underground record label Tarsier Records with AMP at Viacom Group.

The well-attended event sponsored by Tanduay Rum included an open invitation to all Viacom employees in the historic Viacom building (also known as the 1 Astor Plaza) where artists like Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé and Rihanna began their careers on popular TV shows like TRL and exclusive industry showcases like these. This was Kiana V's first time in New York and only her second time performing solo in the US after a recent performance before a sold out crowd in Los Angeles last week. She performed songs 530A, Keep It Secret, KBye and Get Together off her new album, See Me.

Inigo debuted his newly co-written songs like Options and Neverland that were produced by Justin Bieber's music director Harv and Catching Feelings produced by DJ Moophs (Tarsier Records label head Chris Lopez). myxTV also showcased its new TV show, MyMotto: The Music Edition, before the live crowd that featured the top music talent from across the globe like Australia's #1 YouTuber and K-pop star Wengie (with whom Inigo currently has huge viral hit called, Mr. Nice Guy), Latin pop star Ally Brooke, formerly of Fifth Harmony, and Saweetie, a bi-racial Filipina and African American rapper.

“The general sentiment after the event was much excitement for Inigo and Kiana,” said ABS-CBN Global Head of Music and Talent Roslynn Cobarrubias. “Both of them were asked to participate or to be considered in future music opportunities ranging from radio appearances to music licensing opportunities that will further expand their goals in getting their music heard on a mainstream level throughout the world.”
