After Fina (Jodi Sta. Maria) prevailed in court and successfully proved that Leyna is indeed her long-lost daughter Joy, the unwavering mother filed multiple cases against Juris, Drei, and the latter’s mom, senator Matilda (Ayen Munji-Laurel).
Fina’s victory consequently put a dent in Drei’s reputation and chances of winning the senatorial race – which his powerful political family is trying to fix by hindering Fina from finding a job and being able to support Leyna’s medical needs.
As the two mothers fight for the love of one child, the barkada’s bond seems to be wavering, after Greco divulged important information about the death of Fina’s mother.
While Lolita is convinced that they have long been manipulated by Juris, Gaylord remains confident that Juris would not kill one of their best friends.
As Fina prepares to battle in court, Juris’ mother, Dolores (Agot Isidro) – a journalist who was once Fina’s ally and knows the whole truth about that fateful night in Baguio – now walks with her life in peril.
