ABS-CBN Sports brings eSports to the center stage this weekend as it delivers action from the 2nd Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL) on S+A, LIGA, and iWant, featuring Massive Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games Arena of Valor, League of Legends, Mobile Legends, and Tekken 7.

eSports enthusiasts and the entire gaming community can tune in to the Arena of Valor (AOV) Finals LIVE on S+A this Sunday (August 11) at 10:30 am with the League of Legends (LOL) Finals airing on primetime at 8 pm. The Tekken 7 tournament Finals, meanwhile, will also be airing LIVE on LIGA at 6 pm on the same day.

ABS-CBN Sports’ coverage of the 2nd PPGL, which gathered the country’s most promising eSports athletes at the Market! Market! activity center in Taguig City, began on Friday with the livestreaming of the semifinals of AOV and opening round of the widely-popular mobile game Mobile Legends Bang! Bang! (MLBB) on ABS-CBN’s popular streaming service iWant. iWant will also livestream the semifinals of LOL and finals of MLBB on Saturday (August 10) at 11 am, and the finals of AV, LOL, and Tekken 7 on Sunday starting at 10:15 am.

S+A will also air the MLBB Finals on August 17 at 1 pm, while eSports fans can witness the awesome 1-on-1 combat action between the finalists in the Tekken 7 tournament on August 18 at 10:30 am.

A combined pot of P1.3 million is at stake this year in the PPGL, which is organized by MET Events, Asia’s biggest eSports events organizer, in partnership with Globe Telecom. This season, the league has successfully fulfilled one of its missions—bring up-and-coming esports athletes nationwide closer towards the realization of their eSports dreams—as more than 20 hopefuls look forward to their PPGL 2019 main stage debut.

eSports enthusiasts dare not miss this big event when the 2nd PPGL season enters its Finals stage starting off with Arena of Valor this Sunday (August 11) LIVE at 10:30 am followed by the primetime airing of its League of Legends Finals at 8 pm. The fun doesn’t stop there as its MLBB Finals and Tekken 7 Finals go on air on August 17 and 18 respectively. Meanwhile, iWant is giving the opportunity for those who want to catch it LIVE via its livestream services for its entire three-day run.
