Even in the middle of a pandemic, Filipinos continue to inspire with stories of hope, hard work, and unity as shown by the budding entrepreneurs and documentarists featured on the Facebook pages of ABS-CBN programs “My Puhunan” and “#NoFilter.”

On “Kuwentuhan at Kumustahan sa My Puhunan,” which are posted on weekdays, Karen Davila interviews determined Filipinos who have found was to earn extra income despite the current health crisis. One of them is a bone cancer survivor, who is now a successful entrepreneur, Karen also listened to the stories of employees who are juggling the demands of their job with taking care of their families as they work from home.

Viewers also got inspiration from an OFW who has a booming business in Greenland, and learned about handling money and starting a business from experts like Chinkee Tan.

Meanwhile on “#NoFilter,” viewers can pick from a variety of short documentaries produced by students who are dreaming to become a documentarist like Jeff Canoy, whose mobile documentary for “#NoFilter” called “Tao Po,” won at the New York Festivals. Using smartphones, students who joined the program’s #KuwentongQuarantine Online Workshop developed their own documentaries that can now be seen on the program’s Facebook page.

One student showed the experiences of different Filipinos during the COVID-19 pandemic, while another followed the activities of stranded students in Baguio, who chose to spend their time helping frontliners.

Viewers can also revisit past episodes of “Failon Ngayon” that tackled important issues such as teenage pregnancy and discounts on maintenance medicines on its Facebook page.
