ABS-CBN dedicates new Christmas theme "Andito Tayo Para Sa Isa't Isa" to Filipinos

After one of the most challenging years for Filipinos, ABS-CBN offers a loving tribute to everyday heroes who continually give hope, strength, and inspiration to others, as the nation celebrates Christmas this 2021.

After one of the most challenging years for Filipinos, ABS-CBN offers a loving tribute to everyday heroes who continually give hope, strength, and inspiration to others, as the nation celebrates Christmas this 2021.

On Monday (November 8) night, ABS-CBN finally released “Andito Tayo Para Sa Isa’t Isa,” the theme song of the “2021 Christmas ID ng mga Pilipino” that it will launch this Friday (November 12) on “TV Patrol.”

The song tells how having faith in God and working together in love have enabled Filipinos to overcome life’s adversities such as the pandemic and natural disasters like typhoons, floods, volcanic eruption, and earthquakes.

Performing the song in the recording and lyric video, which can be watched in various ABS-CBN cable and online platforms, are Ogie Alcasid, BGYO, Kathryn Bernardo, Andrea Brillantes, Sharon Cuneta, Darren Espanto, Seth Fedelin, Sarah Geronimo, Belle Mariano, Martin Nievera, Daniel Padilla, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Donny Pangilinan, Inigo Pascual, Piolo Pascual, Erik Santos, KZ Tandingan, Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and Vice Ganda.

The lyrics of “Andito Tayo Para Sa Isa’t Isa” were written by Robert Labayen and Love Rose De Leon of ABS-CBN Creative Communication Management (CCM) division with Thyro Alfaro. Thyro also composed the song’s music with Xeric Tan. CCM’s Maria Lourdes Parawan provided the English translation of the lyrics for the video.

Led by Robert, Johnny Delos Santos, and ABS-CBN chief operating officer of broadcast Cory Vidanes, CCM is also behind the recording and lyric video and the “Andito Tayo Para Sa Isa’t Isa: 2021 Christmas ID (CID) ng mga Pilipino.” The CID features inspiring stories of Filipinos and more Kapamilya stars and personalities.

The 2021 Christmas ID Creative and Production Team is composed of overall head of production Sheryl Ramos, lyric video producer Edsel Misenas, producers Mark Angelo Bravo, Christian Faustino, Adrian Lim, Anna Charisse Perez, Revbrain Martin, Raywin Tome, Maria Lourdes Parawan, Love Rose De Leon, Edsel Misenas, Kathrina Sanchez, Roda Baldonado, Lawrence Arvin Sibug, Mariah Krizaeda Quilao, Winter Delos Reyes, Franciesca Cruz, Diane Monique Olaivar, Jhoi Pelagio-Pablo, Kathrine Panganiban, JC Bautista, Maria Theresa Camille Brinquez, at CCM traffic and operations head, Tess Perez-Mendoza.

The ABS-CBN Christmas ID 2020 Lyric Video Editing Team, on the other hand, includes lyric video main editor, Jaimee Jan Agonia, led by Maria Concepcion Salire and Mark Gonzales, motion graphics artist Karlo Emmanuel Victoriano and logo design artists Ian Santos and Raphael Laureta, graphic design team Regine Binuya-Bague, led by their head Alfie Landayan, audio post specialist Alvin Mendoza, and talent coordinator Winnie Mariano.
