“Andito kami para sa’yo,” is the message of ABS-CBN Foundation together with its donors and volunteers as it responded to assist Filipinos who are once again affected by Taal Volcano’s unrest.

To make affected Kapamilyas feel that they are not alone, the Foundation went to Tanauan City, Nasugbu, Laurel, and Balete in Batangas to distribute food packs, hygiene kits, vitamins, and Ligtas Bags containing necessities during emergencies.

One of the evacuees who received support is Angeline Reyes from Nasugbu. In an interview with “TV Patrol,” she recalls that their family was unable to bring anything when Taal erupted again and shared that they have been wearing pre-loved clothes from donations.

Angelina also adds that her fear is heightened this year compared with the eruption in 2020 because of the pandemic.

“Ngayon kaya kami takot dahil pandemic ngayon, ang mga bata natatakot ako dahil baka magkasakit,” she shares.

As ABS-CBN Foundation restarts its “Tulong-Tulong sa Taal” campaign, it urges the public to show love and care to affected Filipinos like Angelina.

ABS-CBN Foundation is accepting cash donations via Gcash and Paymaya with QR codes ready for scanning in their Facebook page. It also accepts donations through Cebuana Lhuillier. Just indicate that the receiver is ABS-CBN Foundation in the remittance form.

The Foundation also receives donations on its peso savings accounts on BDO (0039302-14711) and BPI (4221-0000-27). Moreover, food pack and Ligtas Bag vouchers for “Tulong-Tulong sa Taal” are available on Lazada and Shopee.

Updates on the situation of evacuees are reported on “TV Patrol.” For more details, visit the Facebook page of ABS-CBN Foundation (@abscbnfoundationinc).
