Hits the top spot of Spotify’s Fresh Finds PH
Promising Tarsier Records artists NAIV and Thomjay dropped their R&B love song collaboration “
Ikaw,” which captures the emotional connection between lovers.
It earned the top spot on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Philippines playlist last Friday (Feb. 3) and landed at the 11th spot on OPM Rising last Thursday (Feb. 9).
NAIV and Thomjay composed the song with Jianluigi Masongsong, which speaks about loving someone and all the other emotions that come with it. Its trap infused beats and mellow melody produced by Plumberboi makes the English-Filipino track perfect for late night drives and chill playlists.
Singer, songwriter, and rapper NAIV previously made his first appearance on Spotify's Fresh Finds Philippines with his single "Ignition." He is currently taking up Bachelor of Music in Music Performance at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
Up-and-coming artist Thomjay entered the music scene with fresh R&B tracks like "Selfish," "Naked," and many more. He is a part of the Olongapo City artists group "ID-IO Collective." The artist has been singing since he was a young kid and has been heavily influenced by artists Chris Brown, Daniel Caesar, Justin Bieber, and Zayn.
