The Japanese restaurant is headed by one of Australia’sfinest, Chef Tetsuya Wakuda. His restaurants have constantly been part ofAsia’s 50 Best Restaurants, Forbes Travel Guide, and since 2017, his restaurantWaku Ghin has been awarded 2 Michelin stars. “Truly, this restaurant will beanother dining experience for the books!” says Raul.</p><div><br/></div><p>The key to Wakuda is in the ingredients, ChefTetsuya derives the purest flavors from prized produce such as the Tasmanianocean trout and Ora King salmon from New Zealand, quality Tokujo AA uni fromHokkaido, or the delicate umibudo (sea grapes) and mozuku (seaweed) fromOkinawa. Violet Oon is awell-known Singaporean chef with several restaurants under her belt. She isknown for her authentic Peranakan cuisine. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Anyone who arrives or departs from the Changiairport should not pass on this exquisite restaurant,” shares Raul.</p><div><br/></div><p>Indeed, Violet Oon features an elevatedall-day dining menu showcasing local favorites and one-dish delights, making ita great parting shot for travelers because it’ll make you appreciateSingapore’s diverse and nuanced culinary heritage. One is SwissotelSingapore the Stamford where he went up to the 70th floor for Skai, acontemporary bar and grill with one of the highest, and most breathtaking viewsof the city. Apart from its great cuisine and Rose selection, Skai has kept thetradition of High Tea alive and well with their signature teas paired with somedelectable teacakes. </p><div><br/></div><p>“If there’s any place with the perfect balanceof ambiance in Singapore, it’s got to be here,” says Raul. </p><div><br/></div><p>Their high tea is from 3-5PM, Sunday toFriday, and here, you can expect savory dishes such as Turkey Spinach Pesto,Duck Raspberry Pistachio, Pumpkin Hummus, and Caviar Buckwheat Blini with SourCream; or sweet dishes like Japanese Potato Cheesecake, Citrus PistachioTartlet, Okinawa Brown Sugar Macaron, and Madagascar Vanilla Scones, amongothers, along with choice of TWG Tea or Gourmet Coffee selections. </p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img loading="lazy" src="https://assets-metrostyle.abs-cbn.com/prod/metrostyle/attachments/1b3e25a7-4a23-42be-b56e-3efb54d93ae2_eic-on-the-move-singapore-fullerton-hotel.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="Fullerton Bay Hotel"/></span></span></div><div><a href="https://www.fullertonhotels.com/fullerton-bay-hotel-singapore" target="_blank"><strong>Fullerton Bay Hotel</strong></a></div><p>As for Raul’s final hotel stop in thisepisode, he visited the Fullerton Bay Hotel in Singapore.
