<p>It’s the year 2022 and the Philippines is definitely keeping up with modern times. Albeit our traditional and somewhat conservative culture, the current era has ushered in many new avenues for people to speak up and be heard on matters that actually matter.</p><div><br/></div><p>Such is <strong>Nala Woman</strong>’s “Let’s Talk Ladies” event, where the feminine care brand gathered ladies together for an afternoon of women’s health-related discussions. There’s Nala Woman which provides healthier and eco-friendly options to use during that time of the month. And not to be missed are Jellytime and Unprude, which offers products that help ladies explore and understand sex, pleasure, and what makes thier body feel good.</p><div><br/></div><p>Throughout the entire event, there are three important highlights that remind us why we need to create these kinds of spaces for discussion of women-related issues, which are still prevalently shut off and ignored. First, these kinds of conversations don&#x27;t just enlighten, but also educate. And education opens up more doors to knowing ourselves better as females—from breaking the stigma and misconceptions on reproductive health to taking one step closer to understanding how our bodies work and what we can do about it.</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img loading="lazy" src="https://assets-metrostyle.abs-cbn.com/prod/metrostyle/attachments/0b13df0a-a770-476e-9722-240a54b30fea_nala women 131.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt=""/></span></span></div>It also becomes a channel to raise awareness on women’s health issues and concerns, to battle gender inequality, and to remind us that choices are available for us to take.
