Roxanne Guinoo talks about the joys of motherhood

But after giving birth to baby Rain Eliana last September 15, she claimed that her perspective in life has taken a 180-degree turnaround because motherhood is definitely no mean feat. &#x27;Totoo yung sinasabi nila na instinctive ang pagiging ina. Pero kasi responsible tita din ako sa mga pamangkin ko. Kapag wala mga kapatid ko ako ang nagaalaga sa kanila and malakas ang loob ko. Pero iba talaga &#x27;lsquo;pag sa anak mo na e kasi parang konting iyak lang natataranta ka. Lalo na nung few days old pa lang siya, maprapraning ka na,&#x27;nbsp; &#x27;lsquo;Ano ba ito? Ba&#x27;rsquo;t siya umiiyak?&#x27;rsquo; Pero paglipas ng araw masasanay ka,&#x27; said Roxanne in an interview with Push.com.ph. The young actress further shared that her daughter looks a lot like her Chinese husband-to-be Angelo Yap. And apparently, the two of them help each other out in taking care of the baby especially during nighttime. &#x27;Oo naman kapag madaling araw duty kaming dalawa. Halimbawa nung night before may taping ako for Maalaala Mo Kaya, nagprisinta na siya ang magbantay sa baby kasi mga 4 am na nakatulog. Eh 5 am kailangan ko ng kumilos kasi may taping.&#x27; But since she&#x27;rsquo;s a hands-on mom, Roxanne admitted that it was really hard for her to leave Rain at home. &#x27;Bago ako umalis medyo hirap ang feeling. Ang tagal pa bago ako nakaalis. Kasi &#x27;lsquo;di ba hindi muna ako nagwo-work ngayon? So 24/7 ako ang kasama. Actually nung unang beses kong nagpunta ng mall at iniwan ko siya sa bahay, umiyak ako sa kotse. Siguro gano&#x27;rsquo;n talaga &#x27;lsquo;pag first time nagka-baby tapos hands-on ka hindi mo maiwanan.&#x27; What&#x27;rsquo;s good about her situation though is that even her fianc&#x27;eacute;&#x27;rsquo;s family has been very supportive of her and the baby. As a matter of fact, they made sure that she took a balanced diet right after her pregnancy. &#x27;Nung time na nanganak ako, sinunod ko yung Chinese ways nila kung ano dapat gawin para lumakas agad ako. Yung auntie ni Angelo talagang pinagluto ako ng iba-ibang Chinese food for almost a month para mag-heal ako agad. Tapos lagi ako nagsu-soup kasi nagbre-breastfeed ako e. So kinarir ko talaga. In two weeks ang lakas ko na. Pero sabi nga nila &#x27;lsquo;wag ko daw abusuhin yung katawan ko kaya hinay-hinay muna sa pagbabalik-trabaho.&#x27; When asked if she works out to get back in shape, Roxanne said that eating healthy food and breastfeeding helped her become physically fit again. &#x27;Sinuwertre lang ako na hindi ako masyadong namanas. Pero meron pa rin naman kahit papa&#x27;rsquo;no. Tapos yun nga, breastfeeding ang lakas makapayat. Pero &#x27;lsquo;di ako nag-work out dahil hirap din ako nagbuntis noon. Yung kinakain ko sinusuka ko din kaya siguro hindi ako gaanong tumaba. Pero binabawi ko naman sa vitamins para healthy pa rin si baby.&#x27;
