Playing the ever-supportive best friend to Mikay on
Princess and I
, Khalil Ramos said he is happy at how his budding love team with newcomer Sofia Andres is being received by fans. “Sofia’s my friend.
Kakakilala ko lang sa kanya
this year and
mabait naman si
Sofia. She’s really charming so
malakas yung
charm
niya.
She always smiles, never
siyang nakasimangot.
She’s really a sweet girl. Our love team is good, it’s very productive and
ayun
, we’re very happy
na nag
-click
yung
love team
at ang daming sumusuporta
. We’re doing it all for the fans,” he said.
The
Pilipinas Got Talent
alumnus said he is thankful that viewers of the show also support his new pairing. “Like Sofia, this is also my first
teleserye
, too. I’m just really overwhelmed. I’m really, really happy
lang kasi
well
walang makakapantay kasi sa ganung
feeling. I would say yeah we have chemistry,
kung masasabi niyong maraming sumusuporta, kumbaga
I think
meron talaga. Nung
storycon
sa simula pa lang, alam ko na
actually
na meron talaga, may gagawin pang ibang
love team.
Nagulat lang kami na nag-
click, so
marami
ring fans,” he shared with
.
Even though his character Kiko was not successful in courting Mikay, Khalil said their fans can expect Kiko not to leave his best friend’s side. “For the fans of Mikay and Kiko love team,
ang masasabi ko, si
Kiko, well
siyempre kung ikaw mahal mo yung tao, abangan na lang nila.
Personally
wala pa ako masyado alam pero abangan na lang nila ang mangyayari kay
Mikay
at
Kiko,” he shared.
Khalil said that there are also more exciting things that are going to unfold in the story. “
Marami pang mangyayari sa Princess and I, siyempre sana suportahan pa rin nila at subaybayan nila ang
journey
ni
Mikay in finding her true identity and
madami pang mangyayari na mga
twists and turns and revelations so s
ana suportahan pa rin nila,
” he added.
The 16-year-old admitted a lot has changed in his life since he started acting. “When I entered the show I didn’t really expect anything. I feel really privileged and honored and thankful
na napili ako dito
so I did my work and I did everything that I can. I gave my 100% I think
naman
, it’s all for the viewers, for the fans. I didn’t expect anything,
bigla na lang
wow
yung
feedback
nila
was really great. I’m just really, really thankful for everything,” he said.
Khalil said that doing out-of-town trips with his co-stars for the Princess and I Royal Caravan has also been an unforgettable experience for him. “After
PGT naman may mga
mall show
ako
but that was just as a solo artist.
Sa
mall show
ng Princess and I,
dun ko nakita talaga yung dagsa sa tao
so I guess
marami talagang sumusuporta.
When you ask them if they watch everyday,
ang lakas ng sigawan.
Lalo na kapag kaming apat kumpleto, grabe. Dun ko lang na-
experience
yung ganun karaming tao
. The best Royal Caravan show for me was in Davao. For me it was the most memorable
kasi
it was the last. The last leg.
Maganda yung mga
prods
namin, andaming tao
,” he recalled.
The talented teen also shared he is excited for their upcoming tour abroad. “
Narinig ko na yung usapan
before
na sana mag
-US tour
kami. Ako siyempre
excited
kasi
US
yun eh.
So
sabi ko sana nga matuloy.
Then one day
sinabi nila na naka
-book
na
and everything. Whoa. It’s my second time to go the States
naman pero
my first time was really before pa so I’m really excited,” he said.
