“It’s very natural. JL and I are friends. We see each other. We say hi. We say hello. May pinagsamahan kami, dapat maging magkaibigan kami,” the actress commented on the issue.

Also, John Lloyd was said to have been seen talking to his former girlfriend Shaina Magdayao at Bea Alonzo’s birthday party.

“We’re ok. Ah… binabati naman niya ako pagnagkikita kami,” Shaina said.

In an interview with Boy Abunda on “The Buzz ng Bayan” this Sunday, John Lloyd was grilled on how he feels about what people think of him because of his private life.

John Lloyd continued by saying that as an actor, he can’t really put a boundary between his public and private life.

The star of ABS-CBN’s newest sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” also revealed that there’s this discomfort he feels when he is asked to discuss his personal life.

“Uh, no. There’s always been this discomfort when people ask me about my personal life, hindi lang naman din love life eh. Could be anything. Yun lang naman talaga yung nasesensationalize, yung love life,” said John Lloyd. “Pero, kaya siya may discomfort, dahil may effort from a lot of people na pasukin.

On his current relationship with Angelica Panganiban, when asked by Boy what makes them click, John Lloyd disclosed, “Openness, that’s one. And we really get along. Yung art na naappreciate namin they tend to oppose, they tend to contradict each other. Yung pinangagalingan nila, magkaiba pero in the end it makes it more exciting kasi masaya lang kami.”

Although they also have their share of arguments, the funny actor revealed that he’s the one who gets high-strung sometimes. “Oo naman like any normal couple nag-aaway, but fight, fight like a heated argument? Kaya naming magusap, kahit ano kaya namin pagusapan.”

As to where their relationship is going, John Lloyd said he’s thankful for Angelica’s presence in his life. “Sa mas magandang bukas? (laughs) Well, yeah, it’s a promising relationship. Madami siyang pinanghahawakan. Palalim siya ng palalim, ganda niya. It’s a beautiful relationship. I must be a very lucky man.”

John Lloyd’s very first sitcom, “Home Sweetie Home” will air on the first week of January 2014. “Home Sweetie Home” which also stars Toni Gonzaga, is directed by Bobot Mortiz.
