Chito Miranda thanks fans for support, apologizes for leaked sex tape

<div><img src="" alt="080413-chito_main.jpg" width="305" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>Instead of denying his involvement with the sex tape that allegedly involved him and girlfriend Neri Naig, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda has opted to apologize for the controversy roused by the leaked video which made rounds over the web on Saturday, August 2.</div><div> </div><div>&#x27;We are truly saddened by the fact<i> na may nag</i>-leak<i> na </i>private video of me and my girlfriend, Neri Naig,&#x27; he said via a post on his Instagram account, chitomirandajr.</div><div> </div><div>&#x27;<i>Humihingi po ako ng paumanhin sa mga pamilya namin</i> for this unfortunate incident,” he continued, “Thank you for your prayers.&#x27;</div><div> </div><div>The 37-year-old musician explained via a succeeding Twitter post that their house was recently burglarized.</div><div> </div><div>“Thanks for all your prayers and encouraging messages. Our hard drive was stolen from our room in our house along with several other stuff...” said he.</div><div> </div><div>A little later, Chito posted a photo of him and the former Star Circle Quest alumna with a brief yet meaningful caption.</div><div> </div><div>“’<i>Di niyo kami matitinag</i>,” he wrote.</div><div><br/></div><div>It may be recalled that Chito confessed in a previous Push interview that he and Neri have been going out since December 2011.</div><div><br/></div><div><br/></div><div><i>Photo courtesy of Chito Miranda&#x27;s Instagram account. </i></div>
