<div><img src="" alt="092713-Richard_Main.jpg" width="305" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>Richard Yap confirmed that the planned <i>Be Careful With My Heart</i> movie was withdrawn from the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) because their schedule could no longer handle it. “’<i>Yun nga siyempre</i> as much as possible<i> sana gusto namin isama rin. </i>But the way things are going right now, <i>hindi kakayanin eh. </i>So for us <i>okay na rin na hindi nasama kasi mahirap maglabas ng</i> movie<i> na</i> half-baked, much better <i>na</i> prepared <i>na kami </i>and we&#x27;ll concentrate on doing that,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>He added that it would also be difficult for the production team to be working on a film while they’re working on a teleserye at the same time. “It&#x27;s not only <i>sa amin eh,</i> it&#x27;s the whole production eh a<i>t nahihirapan sila na mag</i>-produce <i>ng</i> both at the same time. <i>Baka</i> if ever we’ll do that <i>hindi pa kami umabot kasi</i> the schedules that we have <i>hindi talaga kakayanin.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Is there is any regret on his part that the movie version is not happening anymore? “For us it is more of a relief <i>kasi mahihirapan talaga kami, kasi mahirap pag puyat ka na, baka hindi mo rin mabigay ‘yung</i> best performance mo.”</div><div><br/></div><div>“Ser Chief” relayed that if ever he’s going to do a movie, he’s open to be paired with anyone other from his <i>BCWMH</i> love team partner, Jodi Sta. Maria. “For me okay l<i>ang</i> <i>kung </i>with Jodi or with another, actually it depends with the management.” If given the chance to work with other Kapamilya stars on a film, he would like to be paired with Anne Curtis and Dawn Zulueta.</div><div><br/></div><div>Besides being an actor, Richard is also now a recording artist with his self-titled debut album now out in the market. He said that it is a dream that came true. “I’ve always wanted to sing since I was a kid. I am thankful to our<i> teleserye </i>because through our official soundtrack, people discovered that I can sing,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>His album is a collection of feel-good tracks with nine revivals that he chose personally. “It covers all genres, from pop to ballad to alternative, appealing not only to music fans in my age group but also to the teens and the in-betweens.”</div><div><br/></div><div>He added, “This is very special for me because I put a lot of hard work in it so that we could come up with something that’s really worth paying for. I’m hoping that all my supporters will love it too.”</div><div><br/></div>
