John Prats remarked that he is beyond happy now that he is engaged to Isabel Oli. “Sobrang saya. Parang siguro dahil I am so ready and I know that she's the one and parang ano lang overwhelmed and I can’t wait now. Dati I can’t wait for our proposal, now I can’t wait for our wedding day,” he said.

On his grand proposal which included a flash mob at Eastwood City, John stated, “Siguro effort talaga and siguro dahil sa love kaya hindi ako na-stress kasi it was all for her and it’s hard but it is all worth it.” He shared that despite having to hire numerous people to pull off the proposal, everyone was so supportive that it all went smoothly. “Ang hirap eh kasi I trusted 500 dancers na for them to keep the secret and I’m so blessed to have those 500 na talagang who kept the secret talaga and sobrang happy.”

John relayed that he first shared with Isabel’s family his proposal plans. “Before two months, before I planned everything nagpaalam muna ako to them kasi baka mamaya hindi naman ako approve sa kanila tapos I was planning so kaya ang sarap gawin kasi everyone is really okay. My family and her family sobrang excited and naramdaman or pag napanood naman niyo you will really feel the support of the family.”

John said that they are taking their time when it comes to planning the wedding. “Well we’re absorbing parang ngayon ‘yung nangyayari sa amin but we're starting to plan we just have to choose the right date. It’s all her ibinibigay ko sa kanya, I just provide. I’ll just do my best to provide.

When asked what he was looking forward to about getting married, the actor said, “Well lots of adventures. Siguro after our wedding siguro babies agad and I’m excited to have babies so ‘yun muna.”
