“I really like Kim,” blurted Xian in an interview with The Buzz on Sunday.

However, Xian shares that sometimes asking Kim out proves to be a little problematic.

Alam naman ni Kim na I really like her. Ang hirap kasi si Kim, ang hirap siyang imbitahin. Kunyari gusto kong manood ng pelikula, maraming kasama, so maraming ililibre. So nahihirapan ako,” Xian elaborated.

After months of not working together since the ending of their box office movie Bride for Rent early this year, Xian claims that they are now more comfortable in working with each other.

Katulad nga nung sinabi ni Kim na natatanggap ko na ‘yung constructive criticisms sa akin. Parang it takes two of us to make a scene work, and trust din siyempre na hindi naman namin papabayaan ang isa’t isa,” he said.

Although they have been together in a few successful projects both on TV and on the big screen, Xian admits that he remains to be in awe over the fact he was able to be teamed up with Kim.

Wala pa sa isip ko noon [na makaka-tandem ko siya. Pero ipinagdasal ko ito]. Kasi nung nasa States pa po, napapanood ko na sila. Isa si Kim sa napapanood ko na back in the States pa lang,” he said.

In fact, Xian’s amazement over their tandem is very much evident over the fact that he still remembers the first day that they met.

Ako starstruck talaga ako kay Kim. She was wearing a white pants and purple top tapos curly 'yung hair niya nun. Pinapanood ko siya,” he said.

The box office tandem of Kim and Xian known as KimXi will once again be seen on the big screen through their third film Past Tense, which is set to come out in theaters on Wednesday.
