It's been more than three years sine they both admitted having had a special connection before and now that they have both been cast in The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin, many are wondering what kind of relationship Alex Gonzaga and Kean Cipriano have now. “Okay kasi hindi ko naman siya nakaka-eksena (laughs). Okay kasi si Kean nakakatrabaho ko na din siya sa Banana Split,” admits Alex who is being reintroduced in the film with her new screen name.

Kean also says that he is also looking forward to working with Alex again in the upcoming TV series Inday Bote in ABS-CBN as well as in the MMFF comedy this year. “Masaya. Sobrang saya. Pag magkasama kami sa Banana Split. Siyempre okay kasi matagal ko na ring kilala si Cathy. May gagawin pa kaming show kaya exciting,” he shares.

In The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin, Kean reprises his role from the first film while Alex is a new member of the cast along with Richard Yap and Bimby Aquino-Yap. “Yung role ko dito ako si Emerson Ecleo, ako pa rin yung malabo yun mata na malabo yung pagkatao (laughs). Pero wala akong leading lady dito sa pelikula. Ang difference niya sa first movie mas close kami ngayon. Kasi sa Praybeyt Benjamin 1, may nagawa kami na camaraderia na kakaiba na kung nag-aasaran kami nung one, mas casual na, mas masaya lang. Parang ngayon mas masaya siya kasi mas comfortable kami sa isa't isa. Mas masarap yung kuwentuhan namin. Basta ang ganda ng environment,” he says.
