Coco Martin is set to star in the upcoming ABS-CBN soap titled Ikaw Lamang. In an interview with the actor during ABS-CBN's trade launch, he shared that they will begin to work on the soap this month.

'Magsta-start na po kaming mag-taping this February at excited kasi napakaganda po ng proyekto, napakahusay ng mga artistang kasama ko, napaka-blessed ko,' he relayed.

Coco said that he is ecstatic to be working again with Kim Chiu, his leading lady in the soap. 'Sobrang excited siyempre, kumbaga matagal na rin ‘yung huling soap na nagawa namin, ‘yung Tayong Dalawa at tsaka Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, tapos ngayon magkakasama ulit kami.”

The actor stated that it feels good to be doing drama again after his stint in Juan dela Cruz. “Kumbaga sabi ko nga after nung siguro, after Walang Hanggan tapos Juan dela Cruz, magbabalik naman ulit ako sa drama, sa love story kaya nakaka-excite.”

He relayed that he shares creative input with the team of Ikaw Lamang like what he was doing on his previous projects. 'Every project ko naman talaga kumbaga nakatutok ako. Siyempre kailangan mo rin magbigay ng inputs eh na makakatulong at makakaganda sa proyekto.'

Now that Valentine's Day is fast approaching, Coco said that he has no Valentine date this time and that he would be working. “Wala pa eh siyempre ngayon trabaho muna talaga. Unang-una wala akong makaka-Valentines this time, puro trabaho muna ngayon,” he said.
