Jake Ejercito on supposedly being in a relationship with Andi Eigenmann: ‘No, no, no. We're still young, I'm still studying, and she's been very busy with all her projects.’

While Andi Eigenmann has been unfailing in declaring her admiration for the son of Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada, Jake Ejercito has been less expressive, speaking up only recently to discuss the real score between him and the Galema star.

'We're good. We've been friends ever since naman,' Jake said during a chance interview at the recently-concluded Garage Young Talent’s Party 2014 held at the Skye Lounge in Taguig City on March 6.

Jake, who arrived at the event together with Andi, shared that he just got back to the country for a break. 'I'm spending time with family and friends. I'm here for a month for a break,' he said.

The Kapamilya actress had shared in past interviews that the young Ejercito is currently based in Singapore to continue his studies after being based in London for a while where he took up a course in political science and business management.

Are they a couple? 'No, no, no. We're still young, I'm still studying, and she's been very busy with all her projects,' he vehemently denied.

Andi, unlike Jake, has said that they are somewhat of a couple sans labels, but later backpedaled and said that they are biding their time first before making anything official between the two of them.

Despite not being a couple, Andi and Jake have been seen together at several events locally and vacationing abroad together. Last December, Andi and Jake together with some of their friends went to a dance music festival in Singapore and then headed to Malaysia.

Andi also flew to London in the middle of last year when Jake was still based there although there was no confirmation whether or not they spent time together during her stay there.

Last January 1, Andi posted a photo of herself and Jake with the caption: “First couple pic of 2014!! @Unoemilio Happy new year everyone!”

Meanwhile, Jake is slated to finish his studies early next year and while he has no concrete plans yet as to whether or not he’s joining politics, he said he’s not closing any doors. 'If he (his dad) gives me the chance to help out in Manila that would be great. I've been interested naman ever since sa politics,' he said.
