‘Biggest Loser’ participants Ralph Du, Patrizha Martinez are taking things slow

<div><img src="" alt="041414-bl_mian.jpg" width="400" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>After sparking controversy inside the Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles camp which led to their voluntary exit, former reality show participants Ralph Du and Patrizha Martinez are seemingly off to a better place when it comes to their love life.</div><div><br/></div><div>The two, who have been notably close when they’re still inside the Biggest Loser camp, during a live appearance on Buzz ng Bayan’s Sunday episode admitted that they have continued their closeness outside.</div><div><br/></div><div>However, Ralph quickly clarified that they are in the process of rebuilding themselves and assessing their priorities.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Ang masasabi ko po</i> close<i> po kami. Kasi po</i> honestly <i>sa sobrang dami po ng nangyari ngayon, lalo po ito syempre </i>shock<i> pa po ito samin,</i> we need to <i>tingnan muna kung ano po ang dapat mauna,”</i> he explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>Pat, for her part, agrees that they have to take things slow. But will she be open to give him a chance in case he pursues their romance?</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Lahat naman po ng tao may </i>chance eh. <i>Siguro </i>when the time is right.<i> Lahat naman </i>perfect timing <i>di ba? Kung nasa tamang timing, kung okay na kami </i>as individuals<i> kasi </i>you can’t have a relationship when you’re still broken. You have to prepare yourself first,” said the daughters of actors Yayo Aguila and William Martinez.</div><div><br/></div><div>During the fitness reality show&#x27;s tearful April 5 episode, Christian and Ralph of the team Du Brothers and Patrizha and Cathy of team Showbiz Royalties confessed that they brought banned items into the camp such as cigarettes, junk food, and slimming tea to help them lose extra pounds.</div><div> </div><div>Shamed and disappointed by their own actions, the four voluntarily dropped out of the tilt leaving the other contestants as well as their <a href="https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/archive/features/10764/robi-domingo-reacts-to-the-sam-concepcion-anne-curtis-controversy/"><b>fitness coaches Jim and Toni Saret and hosts Iza Calzado, Matteo Guidicelli and Robi Domingo utterly dismayed and disappointed</b></a>.</div><div> </div><div><br/></div><div>Instead of regretting the opportunity they missed by exiting the camp earlier than they intended, Pat says she’s more awash with guilt than anything else.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Kasi</i> I’m the type of person<i> na </i>I don’t have regrets in my life.<i> Parang kasi </i>at a certain point, when you do something, <i>nung</i> moment <i>na ‘yun ginusto mo ‘yung gawin eh so hindi ako nagre</i>-regret.<i> Pero siyempre may</i> guilt eh. Parang nag</i>-succumb<i> po ako sa </i>weakness <i>ko na parang di ko rin iniisip po na hahantong ako sa ganong paraan eh.Nagsisi na parang ganito pa pala ako ka</i>-weak<i> pero</i> at the same time <i>naisip ko po ‘Okay ‘to, natuto ako ng</i> something about myself,’” said the brother of Christian Du.</div><div><br/></div><div>What has this incident taught them?</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Ako po siguro ‘yung journey talaga eh importante. Maaring masama man ‘yan o maganda ang importante po ay may natutunan ka,”</i> said Ralph.</div><div><br/></div><div>The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles&#x27; Bigating Finale will happen on April 26, Saturday.</div>
