Enchong Dee on Erich Gonzales: ‘She’s my wife at work’

Despite taking different paths with their respective showbiz careers, Enchong Dee remarked that Erich will always be part of his life. “I think if there's a certain term for someone you're with, like a marriage but really not marriage but you know that you're going to be with that person for a very, very long time, I think that's Erich,” he stated.

He added that he could describe Erich as his “other half” at work. “Parang siguro we're married if were talking about work. She's my wife at work. Kwento ko lang kasi kinalakahihan na namin ang isa’t isa eh. We’ve started together so ang pakiramdam ko, I think kahit matanda na kami we will always be paired together,” he said.

Earlier this year, Star Cinema announced that Enchong and Erich would be reuniting in a movie. Enchong said that he is looking forward to working again with the actress and to discover the growth that took place while they were working apart.

“Malalaman namin sa shooting yun kung may difference, pag nasa process na kami of working together on Once A Princess. Siguro kinailangan din namin yung time apart para since Katorse halos everyday kami for two to three years kaming magkasama and now three years din kami nagkaroon ng break and then magkakasama ulit kami, we’re hoping na sana naging mature kami along the way,” Enchong relayed.

Enchong underscored that establishing the chemistry with Erich would not be a problem since it comes naturally between the two of them. “I think yun yung edge naming dalawa eh kahit kanino, the moment na magsama kami nawawala yung inhibitions naming dalawa. Ewan ko kung bakit. Gamay namin yung isa’t isa kahit may tampuhan kami, pag magsama kami sa isang eksena parang wala. Kahit good mood kami tapos bad trip yung eksena, nagagawa pa rin namin. It’s weird but I think that’s what they call chemistry,” he stated.
