Joseph Bitangcol says there is no awkwardness between him and Sandara Park

Joseph Bitangcol and Sandara Park were reunited in the taped episode of Gandang Gabi Vice last Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Joseph together with the other Star Circle Quest alumni surprised Sandara as they showed up during the guest appearance of the Korean pop star.

In an interview with Push.com.ph backstage, Joseph Bitangcol remarked that he was happy to see Sandara again. 'Okay naman, masaya lalo na kasama ko ‘yung ibang SCQ friends namin. Ganon pa rin hindi pa rin siya (referring to Sandara) nagbabago, magaling pa rin siya magtagalog tsaka ‘yung pagmamahal niya sa Pilipinas mararamdaman mo so nakakatuwa,' he said.

Joseph and Sandara were once an item, but separated before Sandara flew back to Korea. When asked if there was an awkwardness talking to Sandara again, Joseph clarified, 'Wala naman kasi before siya maging ano talaga… nagkita na rin kami ng ilang beses so okay naman medyo nagkakailangan lang ng kwento but yeah, we're friends.'

Sandara is set to have a concert with her Korean girl group 2NE1 at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 17. Joseph shared that he might not see 'Dara' (Sandara’s screen name in Korea) performing live with her group this Saturday. 'Baka hindi kasi may commitment ako,' he relayed.

The SCQ group is planning to hang out with Sandara after her commitments in the country. 'They are planning, but I'm not sure if magpu-push through kasi busy lahat.' Joseph said that the whole group is proud of the Korean Pop Star. 'Very, very, proud as a co-SCQ and as a friend,' he said.

On his message for Sandara, Joseph wishes the 2NE1 member greater success in her career in Korea. 'More blessings to come at sana hindi siya magbago kasi ‘yun ‘yung minahal sa kanya ng mga Pilipino at tsaka more success,' Joseph said.
