Fresh from her holy week vacation down under, Isabelle Daza said she was happy to get the chance to go out of the country again. “I just toured Australia because I haven't been there since I was young. Nakita namin yung Manly beach, Bondi beach, we ate and just vacationed kasi since January I've been working everyday so medyo na-burn out din ako. So just to wake up and not have any responsibilities and relax. We did the hiking. My gosh seven hours. I was tricked into doing it by my cousin. She said it was going to be fun. In my vacations

naman lagi akong nag-wo

-workout,

hindi yun natatanggal kasi

I have to keep fit

kung gusto ko kumain ng marami

so I won't feel guilty.

Pero

actually

dahil galing akong bakasyon

so

parang medyo

I still feel a bit guilty. It was nice. It was nice to be somwhere na hindi masyado mainit. So back to work na ngayon after Holy Week,” she shared during her launch as Avon Philippines's newest Intimate Apparel endorser held last April 30 at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City.

The 26-year-old model-athlete says she really prepared hard before shooting with Avon, having deprived herself of carbohydrates for two weeks before the shoot. “That was very hard kasi malakas ako kumain. Malakas ako mag-workout pero malakas ako kumain so that was a challenge for me. Siyempre I'm so kilig [when they offered me the deal]. To be honest talagang hindi ako makapaniwala kasi Avon is a brand that I love. I'd love to be associated with it because it's a brand for women. More than nagpapa-sexy, it's giving women confidence. Women empowerment and it also is a direct-selling company so tinutulungan niya ang mga mini-enterpreneurs to have a small business so I like what it stands for and I like the brand's mission and vision kaya I decided to be part of it,” Isabelle explained.

It Takes a Man and a Woman

, Isabelle said she has been busy with three more movie projects this year. The statuesque host said she is also ready to face any controversy that comes with joining showbiz. She said she is not the type who always reacts. “I think it depends on the controversy. If it's something that doesn't mean to be mentioned, then I don't even acknowledge it. If it's something that I need to apologize for I do acknowledge it and I say sorry. It's just really kind of balancing your life I think, I don't know. Wala pa namang sobrang big,” she said.

With her close friend Anne Curtis embroiled in one controversy after another, Isabelle said their friendship is never affected. “I guess we just make it a joke and we just poke fun at each other but we're there to support them I guess through social media also and just being there for each other physically and having dinners and kind of being a shoulder to cry on when they need help and I think they would do the same for me,” she added.

After spending winter vacation abroad with their boyfriends last year, Isabelle said she and the Dyesebel star have definitely gotten closer. “My friendship with Anne I guess would be we don't really hide anything from each other and we're very close, we travel together and I think that's really what makes a friendship, when you can stand each other after being with each other for more than a few weeks,” she said.

Later this year, Isabelle plans to go abroad again but this time to compete in a major marathon. “I'm going to go to Hawaii because I'm going to compete in the 70.3 Ironman Hawaii. So that's with my whole team and that's coming up. Solenn (Heussaff) and I and a bunch of our friends we're planning a European trip so we have to make that paalam pa (laughs). Pinakamalaking competition ko ito, it's going to last six to seven hours of swimming, biking and running. I have been training kaya nga ang itim itim ko na noh (laughs),” admitted the Avon endorser.
