Although she claims to be single for over a year now, actress Bangs Garcia is not too keen to go against what she has started by finally dating someone from showbiz. The Dyesebel star recently made headlines after being spotted traveling in Japan with Mirabella actor Enrique Gil.

The surfacing of their photos has spurred rumors that they are seeing each other, something which Enrique has already clarified last month.

Surprised by these rumors, Bangs on her part, during a recent interview at the sidelines of the So It’s You press conference, also said her piece about the issue.

“Wala. Ano ‘yun? We’re friends. It’s not special. Wala po akong maisasagot diyan,” she quipped.

Bangs even shared that she and Enrique just laughed about the issue the last time they saw each other.

“Actually nag-usap kami tungkol diyan noong nagkita kami sa Cebu during the Sinulog Festival. Wala, pinagtawanan lang namin kasi wala naman ‘yun,” she shared. “Hindi ko nga alam bakit ako na li-link sa younger men.”

The actress who is turning 27 this coming May 26 is completely loveless as of the moment. But that doesn’t mean she’s sad as she shared that she had to go through a tough heartbreak before she got to being “happily single.”

“’Yung third boyfriend ko na businessman, sa kanya ako na-heartbroken kasi okay siya. Sobrang bait pero may isang personal reason kung bakit na-udlot yung relasyon namin,” lamented Bangs.

What happened between her and her nameless ex-boyfriend she says has taught her to be more cautious in guarding her heart.

“Ngayon, nag-eentertain ako ng suitors. I’m not saying na ayaw kong magka-boyfriend ngayon. It’s just that I haven’t found the right one,” said Bangs.

Most of her suitors as of the moment are non-showbiz. In fact, she even claimed to have not had a celebrity boyfriend ever. But that doesn’t mean that she hasn’t seen anyone from showbiz in the past, the only person on the list is acoustic heartthrob Sam Milby.

“Yeah Sam and I dated during the Close Up days oh my God ang tagal na nun,” she blurted.

The sexy Kapamilya star revealed that she and Sam are exclusively dating some eight years ago before he entered the Pinoy Big Brother house. Unfortunately, while the said opportunity paved the way for the blossoming of his career, it somehow carved the part of the ending of their romance.

“So pag naguusap kami sa set ngayon sinasabi lang namin ‘Wow can you believe that?’ Nagchi-chikahan kami kasi lagi kaming magkaeksena ni Sam,” said Bangs.

Despite having moved on from the hunk Kapamilya star, Bangs candidly confessed that she still “adores” the Filipino-American actor-singer.

“I adore him. Of course he’s handsome, magaling umarte, napakabait. Sino ba naman ang hindi magkakagusto sakanya diba?” she said, however she quickly added that, “Pero wala, we’re just really friends right now.’

What if there’s a continuation of their romance?

“Why not? Pero wala eh. Hindi pa na-rekindle ang spark… pero I’m not closing my doors. As what I said, friends kami ngayon,” she underscored.

Aside from Dyesebel, Bangs is also part of the movie So It’s You under Regal Films together with Carla Abellana, Tom Rodriguez and JC de Vera.
