In an interview in the “Yes or No” segment of Bandila last Friday, Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista admitted he and Kris Aquino did become an item for a short period of time. “Yes, pero naputol,” was his short answer to Bandila anchor Karen Davila.

When prodded if he still loves the Queen of All Media, the politician was slow to reply but answered, “Pwede. Oo.” 

Bandila anchor Julius Babao asked Mayor Bistek if he has plans to court Kris again. He could only reply, “Wala na ko magagawa, ‘di na pwede. No.” 

As for the reason why the relationship was cut short, Herbert could only answer, “Mga anak ko. I love my children.” 

The actor-politician also revealed he plans to get married someday and that he’s going for a re-election in Quezon City. He also emphasized he is not running for Senator in 2016. 

Many waited for Kris’ response to Herbert’s revelation but the A&A host only posted a picture with the quotation “silence is better than bullshit” on her Instagram account at 1 in the morning of June 7. “And that says it all,” was all Kris captioned the photo.
