091714-angelo_main.jpgMost people would probably remember former teen actor Angelo Ilagan best for his TV roles in Anghel Na Walang Langit and several episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya. Actor Jay Ilagan’s nephew had a few moments in the spotlight after being recruited as part of Star Magic’s Star Circle Batch 13. Angelo admits fame got into his head.

Quickly fading into the background, Angelo related that his family went back to being dirt poor. And eventually he became homeless and was roaming the streets of the city.

However, Angelo was able to survive it all through a help of a friend. He now lives in a simple house with his family in Gen. Trias, Cavite. He's also part owner of an online shopping company which helped him give his mother a small convenience store.

Angelo is also setting his sights on returning to show business. He will be appearing in MMK’s upcoming episode this Saturday, which stars Jake Cuenca and Meg Imperial.
