Martin Del Rosario has no regrets on his network transfer: ‘Okay yung paglipat ko’

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left"><img src="" alt="090414-martin_main.jpg" width="305" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>As one of the newly introduced Bench models who will walk the ramp in “<i>The Naked Truth</i>” Denim and Underwear fashion show on September 19, Martin Del Rosario admitted he is both excited and nervous to be joining the much-anticipated event for the first time. “<i>Siyempre</i> I&#x27;m excited kasi first time ko maging part ng Bench so talagang pinaghahandaan ko. Siguro gym and diet ang preparation ko. Actually meron kasi akong knee injury sa ACL dahil sa taping so hindi ako masyado naka-workout. Ngayon naman medyo naka-recover ako so siguro mga three times a week ako mag-wo-workout sa gym,” he shared during the press preview held at the Bench tower in BGC in Taguig city held last August 29. </div><p class="MsoNormal">Aside from Martin, the other new Bench Body boys included Dennis Trillo, Tom Rodriguez, Dominique Roque, Markki Stroem, and athlete Arnold Van Opstal. The 21-year-old actor said he is not intimidated to walk the runway with taller and more buff models from Bench. “Ah ganun talaga (laughs). Hindi naman, okay lang. Pinaghahandaan ko rin naman,” he admitted. After becoming a Star Magic artist in 2007, Martin became co-managed by Arnold Vegafria of ALV Talents Circuit Inc. late last year after voicing out his discontent at the way his career was moving in the Kapamilya network. Last May, he decided to move to GMA. Despite all this, Martin said he has no bad blood with ABS-CBN and parted ways on amicable terms. “Wala naman tapuhan. Okay yung paglipat ko. Okay naman. Isa na akong Kapuso and maraming maraming salamat sa mga sumusuporta sa akin mula noon hanggang ngayon sa paglipat ko,” he admitted.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Apart from working with a new network, Martin said he also hopes to start changing his image to a more mature look as well. “Isa na sa career move ko yung pagiging part ng Bench para naman miaba yung image. Magpapaka-sexy. Ready naman ako (laughs). Gusto ko sana ng projects na may mga love interest, ganyan. Yun lang, mga ganun. Mga lead. Kakatapos ko lang ng Magpakailanman ko. May plans pa pero siyempre hindi ko pa masasabi hanggang hindi pa nag-te-taping kasi baka maudlot,” he shared.</p><p class="MsoNormal">After working for almost seven years with ABS-CBN, the mestizo actor said the thing he will miss the most about his former network are the friendships he made working on different projects. “Yung mga friends talaga. Yung mga nakatrabaho ko dun simula nung unang una kong trabaho. Kasi yung iba nasa GMA na eh. Yung sa Abt Ur Luv, sina Lauren Young tapos yung nakatrabaho ko sa Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin sila Coco Martin, Andi Eigenmann, sina Jake Cuenca.
