With the curiosity and intrigue created by model-radio jock Kat Alano about the identity of her rapist, veteran journalist Tony Calvento has voiced his displeasure with the guessing game.
Calvento, on Friday evening, took to his Facebook page to remind Alano about the grounds for a criminal case to be filed against her on account of the way she has been revealing clues about her assailant.

He wrote, 'Kat Alano has been going all over town and narrating her ordeal with out coming out with the real identity of her alleged assailant. You can ask any of your lawyers in your group/community that it only takes two persons who can categorically identify and say who you are referring [to] that is enough for a criminal case to be filed against you.'

Apart from that, Alano, who claimed last year that she was raped by a certain 'public figure' likewise revealed a bunch of clues about her offender. Among them was that this person was supposedly 'a known rapist' and that several cases had been filed against this individual. However, despite the cases against him, Alano stressed that he 'has been allowed to go free, scaring the rest of his victims into submission, knowing the ease at which the other cases were dismissed without fair deliberation.'

Calvento, who was part of Kapamilya actor-host Vhong Navarro's legal team called out Alano and challenged her to 'Come out and identify the person and stop this Judicial striptease.'

He added, 'Atty Alma Mallonga has sent a message that 'False accusations of rape do grievous harm to the cause of aiding real victims of the crime.'

Mallonga, meanwhile, is the known legal counsel of Navarro against the rape cases filed against him last year by models Deniece Cornejo and Roxanne Cabanero, which have been junked during the same year.

Finally, in what appeared to be a response to the lamentations vented by Alano about the unfair judicial system as well as the evident societal biases against rape victims, Calvento ended his post with, 'Our system while imperfect is rightly designed to also protect the rights of those who have been falsely accused of a crime they did not commit.'
