On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Melai Cantiveros looked back on her heartbreak and advised everyone to “enjoy your heartbreaks.” According to Melai, enjoying one’s heartbreak means crying a lot so that when you enter a new relationship you won’t have hang ups about your past relationship. “Para kasunod (ng pag-iyak), not brokenhearted na,” Melai said.

Melai also admitted being hurt on behalf of her husband because of bashers saying Melai is the breadwinner of her family and not Jason. Melai said, “Alam naman nila na may trabaho kami.”

On Fast Talk, Melai said she had her first kiss when she was 21 years old. She also admits almost falling in love with Jericho Rosales. When asked whether her close friend Angelica Panganiban and beau John Lloyd Cruz should already get married, Melai answers with a resounding “yes.”
