Is he open to work with Jasmine in a Kapamilya teleserye? “Yes she’s a great actress, Oo naman, I would love to work with her.” Even after their breakup, Sam relayed that he is still on good terms with Jasmine, saying, “We still are very much friends.” Asked if he is dating someone else at the moment, Sam replied, “Not at the moment though.”

Sam is currently busy taping for the upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye You’re My Home. “I’m very excited siyempre it’s my first time to be working with Ms. Dawn (Zulueta) and Sir Richard (Gomez).” The actor is set to play the role of a law student. “Ako dito si Ram, isa siyang law student, anak ng isang accomplished at respected na lawyer and politician (Richard Gomez) pero ako hindi ako kasing bright o kasing galing ng father ko and ‘yon ‘yung pinaka-issue niya, siyempre na hindi niya ma-meet ‘yung expectations ng father niya na gusto niya siyempre maging [successful].”

He added that his character in the show is a young dad. “He’s a father of a three-year old out of wedlock pero kami ng tatay ko ‘yung nagta-trabaho para hanapin ‘yung nawawala naming kapatid and siyempre ‘yung mga legal matters that come with it kami ang nag-aayos,” he said.
