Chito Miranda’s farewell message to Kamikazee

“Parokya ni Edgar” band vocalist Chito Miranda took to his Instagram to bid farewell to Kamikazee but clarified that he’s not saying goodbye to their friendship. He wrote that he’s thankful for the band's contribution to the local music industry.

SALAMAT KAMIKAZEE Di ko na siguro kelangan sabihin kung gaano ka-solid ang ating samahan bilang magkakaibigan. Alam na naman ng lahat yun eh. And though I am thankful na magkakaibigan tayo, di naman dito nagtatapos ang samahan natin bilang magkakaibigan eh...kaya di ko pa kelangan magpasalamat para dun. Hehe! Eto ay pasasalamat bilang kasama sa music industry, bilang katrabaho, bilang witness kung paano kayo nagsimula, nag-hirap, nag-pursigi, nag-tagumpay, at nag-tapos, at higit sa lahat, ito ay pasasalamat bilang fan. Thank you for sharing your talent, your humor, your passion, and 15yrs of your lives with us. Madami kayong napasaya. Madami kayong na-inspire. Madami kayong binigyan ng magagandang mga ala-ala. And though gusto pa sana namin hilingin sa inyo na ipagpatuloy ang tugtugan ninyo bilang Kamikazee, we understand that the 15yrs that you've shared with us is more than we could ever ask for, and what you've given us is enough to last us a lifetime. That will do, boys...good job. Time to rest. Again, salamat Kamikazee.
